On Tuesday, 19th April there will be an opportunity to lobby our constituency candidates about TETRA and whatever else you may fancy. Organised by the United Nations Association, the event will be held in the Baptist Church Schoolroom and will start at 8pm.

Tetra Forum Cymru · 29 March 05
Following the recent conference, organised by Jill Evans MEP, in Llandinam, an official body has been set up to deal with the Tetra issue in Wales. Tetra Forum Cymru will bring together the various campaign groups around Wales that continue to fight against Tetra. The website also has as an online forum where anyone who has signed up can post questions, make observations, comments etc.

The issue of whether tetra masts produce a pulsed signal or not continues to cause confusion. 02 Airwave and the NRPB claim not but many of the protest groups and biophysicists working in this field claim that they do.

Llanidloes Mast "live" · 16 December 04
02 refuse to answer questions on the status of the TETRA mast – though asked to do so by both MP and local doctor’s surgery.
Engineers for 02 were seen in the vicinity of Llanidloes, on 10th November, testing the signal strength of the Tetra mast. On 30th November, an area engineer working for 02, the company behind the Tetra masts, informed a resident that the mast in Llanidloes was “live”. The engineer did not say at what date the mast had been switched on.

Health Diaries · 2 December 04
The TETRA mast in Llanidloes may already be “live” or may go live in the very near future. Llanidloes residents fear that they may experience some of the ill-health people up and down the country have experienced when TETRA masts have gone live. In a cover story, the Independent newspaper recently reported many such cases including headaches, sickness, nosebleeds and sleep problems. The Llanidloes Tetra Mast Protest Group is encouraging residents to take note of any possible health effects by keeping a brief Health Diary, writing each day a couple of sentences on how they slept and how they felt.
